I am here today with an EXTREMELY heavy heart. I'm sad, angry, disappointed and most of all my soul is deeply disturbed because of the senseless acts by those who were sworn to protect and serve the community.
How are we suppose to feel SAFE and TRUST law enforcement officers when "they" are the ones doing the unwarranted killings? Something MUST BE DONE!! We can no longer sit around and wait to see if things will get any better or remain silent. We MUST speak up and DEMAND a change!!! The officers involved MUST be held accountable for their actions as well.
We NEED justice for the victims!
My heart goes out not only to Alton Sterling and Philando Castile's family but to all of those who have lost a loved one to these heinous acts. May their soul rest peacefully.
Police brutality must STOP!

Thanks Fitbit!
I was initially disappointed to find out my Fitbit Charge HR was longer working. I could not figure out why it would not charge or do anything for that matter. After troubleshooting and getting frustrated, I decided to contact the company.
Once speaking with a representative about my problem, she decided to troubleshoot once again. She proceeded to inform me that I would in deed qualify for a replacement and the company would be shipping me out a new one as soon as possible. Needless to say, I was extremely happy to hear!
I was really enjoying my fitbit until that unfortunate circumstance but I'm excited to get back to using it to help towards my fitness goals.
Thanks fitbit for great customer service and honoring your warranty replacement plan without a hassle. I am now looking into the fitbit aria and fitbit blaze. I am determine to stay on this fitness journey.

A Marriage Prayer

Lord, be in this marriage
In a special way,
May we feel Your presence
Each and every day.
Grant us both good humor
To surpass our coming years;
May there always be much laughter,
May there always be less tears.
Give us strength and courage
To follow in Your will,
To trust You in the valley
As we do upon the hill.
Give us both the eyes of love
So we'll always see
The goodness in each other,
Secure us, Lord, in Thee.
Give us words of kindness, Lord,
Help us both to live
So our lips are ever quick
In saying, "I forgive."
Give us hearts that beat as one,
Bind us ever near;
May our love grow deeper, Lord,
With each passing year.
Lord, be in this marriage,
Keep our love brand new;
May we love each other, Lord,
The same way that *You* do.
